Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has been appointed to the governing council of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), sources mentioned on Tuesday.
Several individuals congratulated Agnihotri on Twitter for his new project and he thanked them.
Agnihotri can also be a member of the Central Board of Film Certification.
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) was based in 1950 by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, impartial India’s first schooling Minister.
Its aims are to actively take part within the formulation and implementation of insurance policies and programmes pertaining to India’s exterior cultural relations.
