Quinton de Kock was the Man of the Match as Mumbai Indians (MI) comprehensively beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2020 match on Friday, however there was one factor he did which made some MI personnel ‘go nuts’, stated MI head coach Mahela Jayawardene after the match.
De Kock went out to bat in his coaching attire, and was seen pulling his match jersey down over an orange jersey, which he had forgot to vary out of.

As De Kock and Rohit Sharma had been seen strolling out to bat in the chase, the South African was seen out of the blue dashing again in direction of the dugout. However, with time probably being a constraint, he was then seen making his method again to affix Rohit once more, adjusting his match jersey to hide an orange band that was exhibiting.
Rohit Sharma, ready and watching his opening companion’s discomfiture, burst out in laughter.
After the match, with De Kock’s 78 off 44 balls main MI by way of to a complete 8-wicket victory with three overs to spare, MI head coach Jayawardene stated: “Apart from Quinny going and batting with his practice pants, everything else was pretty decent.”

In a video that was uploaded by MI on Twitter, Jayawardene informed De Kock, “Ok, so don’t do that again because the marketing guys are going nuts, people went nuts as well.”
